MTV VMA’s Could Belong to Taylor Swift

NEW YORK (AP) — Taylor Swift will be competing against her buddies at the MTV Video Music Awards. Swift’s “Bad Blood” is up for video of the year. Her competition includes Kendrick Lamar, who collaborated with her on “Bad Blood,” and her pal Ed Sheeran. Lamar is nominated for “Alright” and Sheeran is nominated for “Thinking Out Loud.” The other nominees include “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson and Beyonce’s “7/11.” Swift leads the nominations with nine. Fans can vote on their favorites at www.MTV.com until the awards ceremony on August 30.
