PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Yes, we know you probably still have a couple of hot dogs and burgers left over from your Memorial Day weekend cookout. But in Philadelphia, The Roots are already drawing up plans for the next big holiday — the Fourth of July. The band is assembling the lineup for the annual celebration along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. And so far, they have landed R&B star Miguel and country singer Jennifer Nettles. Miguel was nominated for a Grammy while Nettles is the lead singer for Sugarland — who dropped her first solo album last year. The holiday event draws tens of thousands of spectators each year.
