Adele, Taylor Swift Among Runners-Up to Star Wars as AP Entertainer of Year

LOS ANGELES (AP) — You’d figure it would take an intergalactic star to bump off Adele. And that’s’ just what happened as “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” was voted The Associated Press Entertainer of the Year. Adele was among the celebrities in the running for the annual honor. The British-born singer has won the title before. Taylor Swift was also among those in the running for the 2015 title, along with people like Amy Schumer, Jennifer Lawrence, Taraji P. Henson and Jon Stewart.
