NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Keith Urban took the stage early at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival but still couldn’t beat the rain. Urban was four songs into his headlining set on Friday when the skies opened up, but he kept playing. Last night’s Jazz Fest had Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga playing at one end and Jimmy Buffett playing the other. Clarinetist Michael White and pianist David Boeddinghaus perform a tribute to Jelly Roll Morton.Other acts included The Who, Trombone Shorty, Irma Thomas, Allen Toussaint, Cassandra Wilson, Ryan Adams, Wilco, Hozier, Jimmy Cliff and John Legend. Jazz Fest continues next weekend.
