ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — One of the perks of being huge country stars: amusement parks will open just for you. Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood and Brooks’ backing band got to ride the rides at Six Flags Over Texas on Monday to mark Yearwood’s 51st birthday. The park is normally only open during weekends in the fall, but park officials say they opened to accommodate the group. Yearwood’s birthday was actually on Saturday but she was performing with Brooks in Dallas that night.
