COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Darius Rucker got to live his dream: he caught a pass from the Gamecocks quarterback. South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier holds an annual spring football game, and each year he calls on a guest receiver to come off the sideline and catch a long ball. This year, it was Rucker, who is a South Carolina alumnus. He caught the ball from quarterback Connor Mitch during Saturday’s game.
