NEW YORK (AP) — Jennifer Nettles’ New Year’s resolution is to try to land another acting role. Nettles appeared in the Broadway version of “Chicago” and in the TV movie “Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors.” She says she loves acting because she grew up doing theater, but country music will always be home to her. She says country is the best format for a songwriter, especially for “a woman who wants to continue to age gracefully.”
