New Orleans Jazz Fest Sets Record Attendance
NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival has brought in its highest attendance since the one following Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Festival organizers say 460,000 people saw acts like Keith Urban, Elton John, Ed Sheeran and Trombone Shorty at this year’s festival. Some attendees suggested there should be a cap on the number of tickets sold. A spokesman for the festival says there will be no comment outside of the attendance figures.
